The degree show 'afgang 22' marked the graduation of six artists from the Jutland Art Academy.
The graduating artists work across different media and materials, exploring conceptions of art as research, as design, as craft and as communication. As different as they are, they all share a keen, curious gaze, a desire to explore, an interest in learning and the courage to experiment. They also share a pervasive awareness of how art exists in – and creates conversations across – time, place and space. Accordingly, each work resonates with something indefinably other, something outside of itself, creating subtle moments of recognition and reverberation throughout the exhibition.
