Stilleben. Berlin is a series of photographs of a crossroads in Kreuzberg, Berlin, seen from a window on the 5th floor during Bodil Sohns stay at TækkerAIR residency in Berlin 2015. The many photographs are organized in time sequences and structures that contain reflections and shifts, and printed on long, narrow lanes of paper. The composition of the images creates a kaleidoscopic expression with associations to patterned wallpaper. Still Life. Berlin is inspired by László Maholy-Nagy's experimental film Berliner Still Life (1926).
